PUNCHlab is a CAD/CAM software developed to manage CNC punching technology.
It has been recently updated to full compatibility with Windows 10 and it has been entirely programmed with object-oriented technologies and de¬veloped with C++ and C# languages. The customizing possibilities help users, whether they are experienced or not, to get immediate benefits, improving efficiency and productivity. The PUNCHlab constant evolution guarantees its users the best performance. Each operation such as geometry, nesting or technology can be applied automatically or manually.
However the user can always operate, at any time, to modify even a single part of the decisions taken by the system, leaving the others unchanged.
It's a unique environment flexible and efficient for all operations for the setting up of the machining process: geometry, nesting, technology, sequence, post processor. All steps are managed in real time and with the utmost guarantee of completeness.
CUTlab has an integrated CAD for the realization of any type of two-dimensional figure. The CAD is interfaced to the outside with an always updated DXF import system. A module of both 2D and 3D parametric figures completes the system for generating the shapes to be cut.
Each piece designed or imported can be saved in an internal database for subsequent use, possibly also with the cutting technology associated with a further saving of time. The database automatically splits the pieces by material, thickness or customer.
The application module of the punching technology represents the core of the PUNCHlab. Its controls allow the application on geometries of all necessary information for the manufacturing. All functions are performed without using any programming language and each machining process is created or modified by working directly on the drawing.
The complete integration of the PUNCHlab modules allows the user to perform any kind of operation without changing his work environment.
The system includes in addition to the now known interactive nesting, automatic nesting functions. A quantity and rotations can be defined for each piece. The system will take care of preparing the pieces on the desired plate ensuring the minimum preset distance.
The simulation environment allows you to display in an attractive graphic the future path that will be made by the machine once the postprocessor generated by CUTlab has been transferred. The display can be edited back and forth and the processing time can be determined.

Parts lists in the database divided by material, thickness or customer. Nesting with a list of the pieces with automatic and separate numbering of the product. Estimates and final balance even in PDF format or can be managed via email or fax directly from within CUTlab
